Netzero Building's client Hart School engaged them under a Pre-Contract Services Agreement (PCSA). Netzero engaged us as part of the PCSA to provide full architectural service from RIBA Stage 1 - RIBA Stage 6.
what we did
As the client-facing architect, we oversaw the entire design process for the school, including landscaping. We successfully submitted the planning application and handled the management of planning conditions once it was approved.
As there was limited time and the school was operational, the choice was made to not use Netzero's panelized system and instead opt for Premier Modular's point-loaded steel volumetric system. As the design lead, our expertise with both systems allowed us to effectively manage the design team and meet the deadlines.
outcomes
Through interviews available on Netzero's website, it is evident that the project was a great sucsess. The school was completed on schedule and within the allocated budget. Furthermore, it fulfilled the school's vision of a carbon-neutral structure. Our extensive knowledge and expertise in offsite systems enabled us to offer exceptional value to the project.
